One of the best places to stay in Dubai is on the marina. Here you have access to malls, restaurants, beaches nearby and plenty of things to do on the marina. So if you are looking for hotels in Dubai Marina then this post is for you. During my last visit to Dubai we started on the Marina but on previous visits I have stayed in other parts of Dubai.

Staying in Dubai Marina
Staying in on the Marina, whether that is by way of an apartment on the marina, like we did or by way a hotel in Dubai Marina, you have access to Dubai Marina Mall close by for shopping but it also has plenty of restaurants in addition to a supermarket. For Dubai Marina supermarket needs there is a Waitrose and a couple of other smaller places like bakeries.
You also have the equivalent of 7/11 supermarkets on the marina, it is a pretty convenient place to stay as everything is within walking distance and we you will be perfectly safe walking around in the evening as the place is filled with boats that play host to parties you also have the Dubai Marina Dhow cruise tours that leave from here, plenty of restaurants, bars, gyms, spas all dotted around Dubai Marina so it is one of the most sought after places to stay in Dubai. Top Budget and Cheap Apartments and Hotels In Dubai Marina
If you are looking for cheap hotels in Dubai marina area there aren’t that many unless you book in the low seasons like November to December but even then you still have to book in advance as most hotels in Dubai Marina sell up quickly so you will have apartments as options available to you. I have also listed a couple of Dubai marina view hotel apartments below.
The Point Apartment
This quaint hotel provides a comfortable apartment experience at a reasonable price and is less than half a mile away from Jumeirah Beach. Properties here sleeps 2 guests and offers guests a free Wi-Fi and comes with an outdoor pool.
The apartment includes a balcony view of Dubai’s skyscrapers, a fitness centre and BBQ facilities. The room contains a marble kitchen and dining area, as well as a marble bathroom including a bidet.
Nearby: The beach is 4 minutes walk from the Point Apartment, with the Dubai Marina Mall approximately half a mile away.
Pearl Marina Hotel Apartment

Nearby: By car, the Dubai Marina Mall is 5 minutes but you can also walk along the marina away from Pearl Marina. Mall of the Emirates is 20 minutes from the hotel.
Yanjoon Holiday Homes – Marina Tower
Located in the heart of the Dubai Marina, this lavish property ensures guests are comfortable and comes a private balcony area with a scenic view of the sea. Many other holiday essentials are featured; free Wi-Fi, access to the fitness centre and also access to the swimming pool for the whole year.

Hi Belinda, there are a couple one of which was the one we stayed at the Pearl Marina is an apartment hotel on the marina. You also have a few options for apartment hotels on the marina. There is La Verda Suites and Villas Dubai Marina, City Premier Marina Hotel Apartments, Nuran Marina, Radisson Blu Residence Dubai Marina as well as Tamani Marina hotels and Apartments just to name a few. All of them come with a fully kitted out kitchen for a home away from home experience.
I don’t expect a detailed answer here but based on your observations, which apartment or hotel is best to stay at if you have a small child? My husband and I will be going to Dubai to visit some of his family and our daughter is only 6 so we are worried about which hotel would be best for her.
