Living in London, we have plenty of African restaurants, from Nigerian food, Ghanian, Morrocan, South Africa, Ethiopia(one of my all-time favourite African foods).

African food will no doubt have you planning an African adventure in no time but will you are gathering up your coins for the trip of a lifetime, why not have a little taste of Africa even whilst one is holidaying in the United Arab Emirates? Have a taste of some of Africa’s most flavorful meals. From Egyptian to Nigerian to Moroccan to South African, Its a vacation within a vacation all wrapped in one trip!

Kif Kif
If you are looking for a Moroccan and Tunisian tradition dishes, then Kif Kif is the perfect must-visit eatery. With good decorations, good food an affordable menu and friendly and helpful staff, plus every dish is prepared with care and cooked under order.Located opposite Emirates Petrol station, Next to first Gulf Bank.
Tagine
Tagine – One&Only Royal Mirage. In true Moroccan style, the restaurant’s series of moody rooms, arches and alcoves combine to create an ambience akin to a traditional home in Marrakesh. The tobacco-coloured walls have been hand polished and wax plastered in the Moroccan tradition of Tadelakt. Sourcing recipes from Casablanca to Chefchaouen, renowned for mouthwatering mezze and pastilla, a traditional paper-thin filo pastry meat pie, sprinkled with cinnamon and icing sugar. Located at The Palace, One&only Royal Mirage, AL sufouh Road and is open every day from 7 to 11:30 pm.
Almaz by Momo
A stylish and chic North African restaurant and lounge, an irresistible gourmet experience in the legendary Maghrebin style of cuisine. The restaurant blends innovation and tradition, right from food to decor. Almaz extends over various open plan spaces including the ‘Almaz’ restaurant, the Juice bar and the Sheesha room. Located at Mall of the Emirates, Level 3 near Harvey Nichols
Dar El Kamar
An Egyptian restaurant & cafe, specialising in traditional home-made Egyptian cuisine. Dar ElKamar was set up by a group of enthusiastic Egyptians who appreciate customer experience and understand the customer’s needs. We also understand that Egyptians not living in Egypt may at times feel nostalgic to the family gatherings. Located at Dorrabay Boardwalk, next to Jewel Towers Dubai Marina and open every day from 11 am to 2 am except Friday when its open from 2 pm to 3 am.
Tribes
TRIBES is the realisation of one man’s passion for all things African – from the cuisine to the music, art and design. Tribes is a fun, casual dining restaurant located in Mall of the Emirates and The Dubai Mall. Their balcony is the best place to watch the Dubai Mall fountains main course, their cheeseburger and portions of “Steak & Chips” which are quite large! Open everyday from 11 am to 12 am.
AL Ammour
One of the best places to have a fatayer in Dubai with at a reasonable price is at Al Ammour. This place is richer with its taste & variety of Arabic Egyptian dishes. Try a visit to try their fatayer meat with cheese and fatayer cheese with honey. Located on Zabeel Road, Near Sana Fashion and open everyday from 7 am to 2 am.
Geddy
Dubai Marina Geddy offers a mouth-filling authentic Egyptian experience, it is specialised in Koshari, Feteer and serving much more of the menu items of fresh Egyptian food and juices. Especially their koshari with chicken, and feteer, cheese, sujuck, and kraft with honey, an enjoyable atmosphere, I recommend you to try fargaly mango juice. Located at the Ora Marina tower
AL Qaherah Restaurant and Cafe
One of the main draws at this Egyptian restaurant are the ambience and the food. Try their kushari and the rice dishes with bamye or bazila. Features like the Bar, Brunch, Business lunch, Halal, Outdoor seating and sheesha also entice many. Located at the Trident Bayside Tower and open everyday from 6 am to 2 am.
Hadoota Masreya
This restaurant serves the best Egyptian food in Dubai, great taste, amazing variety, wonderful atmosphere and ambience, especially during the month of Ramadan and the special occasions. Located at the Matloob building Sheik Zayed road and open everyday from 9 am to 12 am.
El3ezba
Their best selling dishes are Molokhia with Rice, Kofta, Koshari and Eskandarani Liver, although they have a variety of dishes and meals to choose from, like Dar Elkamar Favorite Plates, Egyptian Grills, Egyptian juices, Dar Elkamar Special Plates and Hot Appetizers. Located at Central Lake Tower, AL Abraj Street and open everyday from 9 am to 1 am.
