I absolutely love Paris and your pictures are making me eager to return to the city. I’ve visited some of the viewpoints featured but well before my blogging days so I’ll have to add them to my Paris to-do list.

That’s a wonderful trip down memory lane. My first ventures overseas saw me in Montmartre, trusty Kodak Instamatic to hand and being so transfixed I didn’t know how best to “spend” my 18 shots. That has changed so much now, and how wonderful to be able to wander around these beautiful spots with unlimited (well almost) shots to capture what we see, And I’ll certainly have to remember to pack my boots.

My top viewpoints were Trocadero, Sacre Coeur at sunset, and L’Arc de Triomphe when the Christmas lights were on. Not that impressed with my visit to the Eiffel Tower.

Oh yes, Paris definitely is view-friendly: From Bobourg to Sacre Coeur and back, then to the Eiffel Tower – you basically move from view to view – and every spot is just so iconic.
