There are plenty of places to eat and during quite seasons you can also huggle your way to a bargain at the table as the restaurants are keen to have people walk through their doors. So next time you are in Pisa don’t just head for the tower. Take a tour of the city and just wander. You never know what you might discover! Some shots from the trip below.
Where to stay in Pisa: We struck gold as our hotel in Pisa was only meters from Miracle square. We had the Leaning Tower of Pisa only a 150 meters from us, which made exploring a breeze. We stayed at Hotel Pisa Tower. Surprisingly wasn’t that expensive either. As I was traveling with my nieces and sister it was handy that we had a big enough room accommodating all of us. You definitely have to visit. You can go in the low season as its so much cheaper because its not as popular as summer months.

I loved Pisa. I went there for half a day from Florence.

Yeah, its so easy to access from Florence and vise versa.

Love the pics and would really like to go – especially after reading your post. I went once, when I was less than a year old (funnily enough I can't remember anything about it ๐
Bianca Malata
You definitely have to visit again then. ๐

Great photos! I combined Pisa with Florence and together they were the perfect getaway! Isn't seeing the Pisa for the first time such a visual treat? In all it's white and precarious-looking glory! Love your photos of Keith Haring especially.
Bianca Malata
Thanks Shing. It was definitely a treat! Would love to visit again and pass by Florence too.

Stunning pictures you have here! I know that the media stereotype with Pisa is surrounding the Leaning Tower but come on…you have to visit it at least once in your lifetime to say that you have experienced the global icon! I have never even visited Italy so can't really comment aside from how beautiful all of your images are.
So much color and ambiance within all of the images – excellent review!
Bianca Malata
Oh you have to visa Italy soon. Plenty of beautiful spots even those not frequented by streams of tourists. I still have a few more posts on Italy to go up so hopefully my pictures will get you booking a flight in no time ๐

beautiful photos..I love the architecture details. I admit I don't know much about Pisa besides the tower. I'd love to visit someday!

Thanks you. There is so much to Pisa than the Tower just like any city they like to concentrate a lot on the main draw to the city but there is more to it. Hope you get to visit soon and let me know what you thought of it.
